Calculator: TI - 30X II recommended
Attendance: Roll will be taken at each class meeting. No make-up exams will be given. If you have an acceptable excuse, your final exam grade may replace your missed exam grade.
Course Goals:
Upon completion of this course the student should be able to use and apply the following concepts in a risk management context:
1. Life Annuities - Continuous, Discrete, Immediate and Due.
2. Benefit Premiums - Continuous, Discrete and m-thly
3. Benefit Reserves - Continuous, Discrete and m-thly.
4. Certain probability models and distributions.
Grading:
We will have regular in-class exams and a comprehensive final exam.

Your final grade is determined by the following formula: 65% -average of in-class exams; 35%- final exam
