Syllabus: Selected sections from Chapters 6 - 10.
Calculator: You may use a TI - 30X or similar calculator on your exams. You will not be allowed to use a graphing calculator on your exams.
Attendance: Roll will be taken at each class meeting. No make-up exams will be given. If you have an acceptable excuse, your final exam grade may replace your missed exam grade.
Course Description. Prerequisite: MATH 1111 with a grade of “C” or better or an appropriate placement score. Circular functions, solutions of triangles, trigonometric identities and equations, graphs of trigonometric functions, Law of Sines, Law of Cosines, applications, vectors, complex numbers, Euler's formula, DeMoivre's theorem, and conic sections.

Grading:
Homework will be assigned daily. Occasionally we will have a pop quiz on the assigned homework. We will have five in-class exams this semester and a comprehensive final exam.

Your final grade is determined by the following formula: 60% -average of in-class exams, 5%- average of pop quizzes , 35%- final exam
