The following scaling functions are obtained by the subdivision scheme with three-coefficient
masks a, 1, 1-a. Their dual scaling functions are generated by the subdivision scheme with
five-coefficient masks. The wavelets and dual wavelets are calculated with
corresponding
masks for the scaling functions. The subdivision schemes are L1 convergent for all points
