MAX Club Meeting Here is what you missed and what is to come!!!
First of all, Dr. Muse, Rebecca, and Angel would like to thank everyone that came to the meeting. It was nice to see 7 students there and many faculty. Here is what we accomplished: 1) October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. To show our support, the Max Club has a box in the fish bowl where you can place much needed items such as towels, clothes, canned goods, etc. Please donate to this wonderful cause. If you have any questions please contact Angel Gaskins. 2) The Max Club will have a table set up at the clock tower on 24 October from 12-2. This table is to give us a chance to let people who are undecided in their major find out what being a Math major is all about. Please let Rebecca or Angel know if you would like to help. 3) The Max Club is having a cookout at Cooper Creek Park on 22 October at 1:00. All Max club members and their families are invited. If you would like to come please volunteer to bring something such as buns, plates, sodas, etc. Let Rebecca or Angel know what you can bring. We hope to see everybody there. It will be a great time.
The Park is on Milgen Rd. and easy to get to from CSU. From the main campus entrance, head towards the mall. At the second light, turn RIGHT onto Manchester Expressway. Stay on this road for a little over a mile. Take the Warm Springs Connector Rd Exit. Turn RIGHT. This road leads straight into the park. At the light go STRAIGHT. Welcome to the park!!
4) Out next meeting will be on 2 November, in the Fishbowl at 3pm. We hope to see you there!!
